On 7 May 2017, while we were in the thick of preparations for Hiperparada, we were asked by ISU Hunedoara (the Hunedoara Emergency Inspectorate) to take part in a search mission for an 82-year-old man who had gone missing on Friday from the town of Petreni. The next morning, our colleague Grațian Dincsorean, together with his dog Diamond, joined the ISU Hunedoara teams, gendarmes and local residents for the search mission. Based on the information held by the mission leaders, the search was carried out along the bank of the Strei river. For the dog teams, the mission ended around midday, to be continued only through searches in the water, at least until the water level of the Strei dropped back to normal.
