On 1 May 2017, at 12:20, CST was asked to take part in a search mission in the town of Folt. It concerned a missing person: a 44-year-old man with some medical conditions, who had gone missing from home the day before. His bicycle was found on the bank of the Mureș. The request to take part in the mission came from a neighbour, an ISU HD (Hunedoara Emergency Inspectorate) employee, who contacted our colleague Grațian Dincsorean directly (himself an ISU employee). Together with his dog Diamond, Grațian set off on the mission in less than 30 minutes from the moment the alert was raised, and was to inform the rest of the CST team if reinforcements were needed. The mission was led by the Simeria Town Police. Staff from the ISU HD Orăștie Fire Detachment and local residents also took part. After searching a large area of scrub and willows on the bank of the Mureș, near where the victim's bicycle had been found, the mission leaders decided to end the search, as the clues found no longer justified continuing the search on land.
