On the occasion of Civil Protection Day, the teams of soldiers, firefighters, doctors, paramedics and volunteers who took part in the international humanitarian mission in Turkey were invited to Cotroceni Palace for the medal ceremony.
Oana Ciora with Dino and Rareș Urs with Max, of the Transylvania Search and Rescue Dogs Association (C.S.T.), Eugen Voicu with Kaly, Mihai Negoiță "Nic Nini" with Akim, and Romica Daniel Chintoi with Zura, of Clubul Câinilor Utilitari (the Working Dogs Club), and Cristian Brecica with Vreni, of Cainii SAR Gugulania Caransebeș (CSG), represented the volunteer search-and-rescue dog teams decorated today by President Klaus Iohannis for their courage and the work carried out in the support mission provided to Turkey following the 6 February earthquake.
