Feleacu Mission, Cluj County, 20.05.2024, and Chinteni Mission, 24.05.2024. Last week was a very busy one for our team. Just one day after returning from the Slovak Search and Rescue Dog Championship, CST received a first request from IPJ Cluj (the Cluj County Police). Our volunteers were called on to support the authorities in searching for a 22-year-old young man who had left home a few hours earlier, threatening to take his own life. This first mission ended well, right after the search began, once he was reached by phone. The second request, from the Police, came on Friday afternoon. This time it concerned a 34-year-old man who had already been missing for two days. Our volunteers began working the victim's trail from a location where he had been caught on a surveillance camera. This time too, shortly after the search began, the victim was found by a firefighting crew, in the waters of Lake Chinteni. The outcome was a sad one, and we extend our condolences to the family and loved ones.
