During the day of 18 January 2018, the CST team took part in a search mission for a 76-year-old man who had gone missing from the town of Hunedoara two days earlier. At the request of the Alba County Salvamont Public Service (mountain rescue), CST responded by sending a first team of 2 CST volunteers with 3 dogs (Tiberiu Krizbai with Yukan'na, and Grațian Dincsorean with Diamond and Rocky) and a trainee volunteer (Ionel Purcaru), with the CST team to be expanded later if the situation required it. Together with Robert Kulcsar with Bebe from ISU Hunedoara, the Hunedoara Police, and Salvamont Alba and Hunedoara volunteers, the CST volunteers searched derelict buildings and vacant lots near the train station. After almost two hours of searching, around 12:30, the team made up of CST volunteer Grațian Dincsorean with the dog Diamond and Master Sergeant Robert Kulcsar of ISU Hunedoara found the victim in a streambed. Sadly, the victim was deceased.
