For 5 days, our organisation hosted a joint training activity for canine teams from the County Emergency Inspectorates, the Special Unit for Emergency Situations, the Transylvania Search and Rescue Dogs Association, Clubul Câinilor Utilitari (the Working Dogs Club) and the future organisation Câini de Salvare Banat (Banat Search and Rescue Dogs). Nearly 40 search dogs tested and improved their response capability for rubble search. Both the dogs and the people were put into new situations they had to adapt to, finding suitable solutions for each one. Everyone made the most of the training ground provided by CST with the support of Uzina Mecanică Orăștie. Thank you to all the participants for their cooperation; we are confident that each of us left Orăștie better prepared and more connected with colleagues from other response structures.
