Câini de Salvare Transilvania (C.S.T.) took part, alongside ISU Hunedoara (Hunedoara Emergency Inspectorate) and Asociația Samaritenii Orăștieni (the Orăștie Samaritans Association), in the activities carried out by Hunedoara firefighters as part of Civil Protection Week.
On 27 February, our colleagues were in Orăștie together with Rocky, Diamond, Yukan'na, Kamura, Brici, Ama, Sia and Ash, who enjoyed the attention of passers-by. The visitors learned more about what civil protection means, what this structure's specific missions are, and the situations in which our "furry rescuers" come to help find people who are lost or trapped under rubble as quickly as possible.
Those interested were also able to examine the response equipment used by rescue firefighters and received recommendations and preventive information materials on how to behave correctly in the event of an earthquake.
