Last week, the Transylvania Search and Rescue Dogs Association organized a training seminar for search and rescue dogs. We had the honor of having Mrs. Mirka Nečak from Slovenia as our instructor, a respected international judge of the International Rescue Dog Organisation (IRO). CST volunteers and their dogs received guidance to refine their performance in searching for and rescuing people. During the seminar we discussed the training methods we had been using, received advice, and practiced new methods adapted to our principles. We ended the week better trained and much more tired!
