In July 2019 we enthusiastically accepted the invitation of our Austrian colleagues from ÖRV (Österreichischer Rassehundeverein) and took part in the joint search and rescue dog training camp. For more than 10 years we have been meeting every summer, and every time we come away having learned new things from the most experienced. Mr. Kurt Schafar once again helped us find solutions to our dog-training challenges, and the outstanding training ground put our skills to the test. At the end of the camp, an exam for search and rescue dogs was also held. Călin and Dino managed to add another certification to their belt: the RH T B exam (top-level rubble search) and the RH FL A exam (level A wilderness search). We enjoyed friendship, guidance, rigour and challenge... and we want more! Thank you to ÖRV and to Mr. Kurt Schafar, and congratulations to Călin and Dino!
