Between 8 and 12 March, CST organised the CST National Training Camp 2017 in Cluj. 28 people and 38 dogs spent 4 days on the training grounds provided by CST. Besides CST volunteers, the camp was also attended by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs from the "Dr. Aurel Greblea" Canine Training Center in Sibiu, ISU Hunedoara (the Hunedoara County Emergency Inspectorate) and ISU Arad (the Arad County Emergency Inspectorate), as well as a member of the Salvamont (mountain rescue) public service in Harghita, and volunteers from Clubul Câinilor Utilitari (the Working Dogs Club) in Bucharest. It was another extraordinary opportunity to exchange information and experience about training search and rescue dogs and to try out new training methods. For 5 days, volunteers and professionals thus became a single team, ready for future rescue missions.
