This year marks 10 years since the Romanian and Austrian organisations began coming together for joint search and rescue dog training camps. This year's camp, held between 22 and 28 May, was organised by ORV and ORHB from Austria.
The camp included training for both forest and rubble search, as well as obedience and agility work.
Also during the camp, an FCI exam for search and rescue dogs was held, a test after which 4 handler-dog teams from CST moved up another step in their training. Raul with Aka and Călin with Dino passed the RH T A test (level A rubble search), Călin with Didi passed the RH FL-E test (elementary-level forest search), and Tibi with Yukan'na passed the BH test.
Many extraordinary things have happened over these 10 years, and the friendships built and the knowledge gained bring us closer together every year.
