🏕️Between 13 and 16 August 2026, the Transylvania Search and Rescue Dogs Association held the National Search and Rescue Dog Training Camp – 2026 in Orăștie.
✨In this year's edition, 22 volunteers and 30 dogs from the Transylvania Search and Rescue Dogs Association, Asociația Oameni și Câini (the People and Dogs Association), Câini de Salvare C.C.U., Bucharest Search and Rescue Dogs and Câini de Salvare Banat came together for 3 days full of training. We all made the most of the trainers' experience, as well as that of colleagues from the teams present.
Training was held separately for each discipline: rubble search, area search and mantrailing.
Outside of training, we spent the remaining hours catching up on stories and news since our last get-together. We were all glad to see each other again and to work together on what we're passionate about — saving people, together with our dogs!
