🌎The World Championship for Belgian Shepherd Dogs, FMBB 2026 for short, was held in Romania, in Pecica, between 11 and 17 May.
The Transylvania Search and Rescue Dogs Association was a partner of the main organiser, Clubul de Ciobănești Belgieni din România (the Belgian Shepherd Dog Club of Romania).
❤️🔥Our volunteers, also helped by colleagues from the Câini de Salvare C.C.U. and CSBanat teams, were responsible for organising and running the Search and Rescue competition.
Grațian, Oana, Ani, Gyuri, Călin, Cipri, Raul, Rareș, Andra, Raluca, Andrei, Oana, Tibi, Adrian, Robert, Radu, Denisa, Carla and Ewald were all part of the effort to organise a top-level event.
We worked hard to prepare good terrain, to be fair victims, and, alongside our three fantastic judges Catherine Denille, Hannes Hiltpolt and Jean Pierre Votquenne, to deliver a great competition.
Thank you to Clubul de Ciobănești Belgieni (the Belgian Shepherd Dog Club) for their trust, and to Uzina Mecanică Orăștie, Pecica Town Hall and Boehringer Ingelheim for supporting the organisational effort.
It was months and months of work, and we hope we managed to do a good job, even though it was the first time we had organised an event on this scale.
