This week, volunteers from the Transylvania Search and Rescue Dogs Association visited schools in Cluj-Napoca and Alba Iulia. More than 500 pupils from Tiberiu Popoviciu IT High School, Ion Agârbiceanu School and Mihai Eminescu School were delighted to learn the story of search and rescue dogs and to see them "at work."
Dino, Max, Jimmy, Flash, Pongo, Yukan'na and Kamura drew rounds of applause and sparked the young pupils' imaginations. We hope that our presence, alongside that of firefighter, paramedic and police teams, at these events will inspire them to become volunteers themselves one day, or even professionals in the field of emergency response!
