22 search and rescue dog teams belonging to several county Emergency Inspectorates, to the "Dr. Aurel Greblea" Canine Training Center in Sibiu, and to the Transylvania Search and Rescue Dogs Association trained together for 3 days in rubble and wilderness search, on the occasion of the specialised training of canine handler-dog units subordinate to IGSU (the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations). It was an interesting experience and a unique opportunity to meet and work alongside most of the search and rescue dog teams within the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The event, in its first edition, was organised under the aegis of IGSU by the Orăștie Fire Brigade Detachment, with support from the "Iancu de Hunedoara" Emergency Inspectorate of Hunedoara County. We thank everyone for their initiative, collegiality, and the dedication with which they engage in this field. We hope this initiative will be repeated and that we will have more opportunities to align our training and response methods.
